Hey everyone, how you doin? So, we’ve discussed gaming laptops before and I’ve also told you about 10 top gaming devices. Today I will give you my recommendation on 5 Best Student Laptops in India.
Why you should avoid gaming laptops if you are a student
You see, gaming lappys have some major disadvantages like
- weight and
- most importantly, pricing.
- Also gaming laptops are a distraction 🙂 really ?
Now we know that, and today in current situation, we have a lot of online classes. Taking online classes on our phones is way more harmful than taking the classes on our laptops. The smaller screen puts much greater strain on our eyes and staring at it for too long is definitely gonna hurt you.
Right now the major focus on online classes is in students from 8th for 12th, because of the online school classes and online coaching of JEE/ NEET or other entrance exams. I recently helped a friend buy a new laptop for his younger brother and I thought I’ll tell you guys about my research on laptops for school students.
As a student what you need in a laptop?
So, here are some assumptions I made, if you are a school student:
- You need a decent battery backup
- You don’t need a high end graphics card
- You need genuine OS and MS Office
- You want a laptop which is light and easy to handle and carry around
I assume you’re not gonna do heavy gaming or use softwares like ansys sthat need you to push your laptops to the limits. So lest us look at some good laptops for students.

Other than that, it boasts a 8GB RAM with i5 8th gen. This with the SSD makes it ideal for a student. It also has a 2GB NVIDIA GeForce MX230 graphics card.
